　　Cambridge Law Test介绍

　　剑桥法律专业面试需要参加CLT考试，这个考试不需要注册不需要报名，1小时之内完成一道写作题即可，主要考察的是逻辑思考能力，以此来评判学生的批判性阅读写作能力，CLT考试为笔试，海外的学生也是可以在报名中心参加的。

　　LNAT介绍

　　LNAT主要针对的是申请者的资质而并非学习成绩，学生可在某一时间和一个方便的考点参加上机考试。

　　LNAT考试分成两部分：

　　Section A 阅读文章后的选择题，满分42，这部分得分就是你的最终LNAT成绩。

　　Section B从三个给定题目中选择一个进行写作。不归考试中心打分，不算入LNAT成绩，但却是向大学招生老师展示个人论述能力的机会。

　　数学

　　MAT介绍

　　申请牛津本科数学与计算机类专业、帝国理工本科数学类专业、华威大学本科数学与研究生数学，需要考MAT考试。MAT是笔试考试，考试时长2小时30分,考试只有一套卷子，满分100分，一共7道题，考生需要根据专业选择其中5道来回答。

　　MAT考试不收费，个别考试中心可能收取考试管理费。成绩不会自动公布，可以要求大学在申请反馈中提供。

　　STEP介绍

　　STEP数学考试主要是用于申请剑桥和华威的所有和数学相关的专业。另外，剑桥的部分学院也要求申请计算机科学、经济学、工程和自然科学的同学提供STEP成绩。对于牛津来说，申请数学专业是要求MAT的成绩，但他们也鼓励学生提供STEP的成绩。帝国理工、KCL、拉夫堡大学、UCL、巴斯大学和布里斯托大学也明确表示，STEP的成绩对于申请数学专业非常有帮助。

　　STEP一般的考试时间是每年的6月。STEP有1、2、3套题，每套11道题选择道作答，答题时间均3小时。STEP1从2019年伊始将转变为8道纯数和3道力学统计(包括至少1道统计和1道力学)，STEP 2和3则将转变为8道纯数，2道力学和2道统计。不再有公式表。

　　STEP 1基于A-level数学，STEP2基于A-level数学和AS进阶数学，STEP 3基于A-level数学和A-level进阶数学。一般大学会要求考生提供 STEP I和STEP II的成绩，STEPIII不是必需的。但学生STEP III成绩越高，证明个人能力越高。

　　TMUA介绍

　　申请部分大学的数学或数学相关课程比如经济学和计算机，鼓励学生参加TMUA考试。大多不是必须，但好的成绩可能会降低offer条件。接受TMUA的学校包括巴斯、卡迪夫、杜伦、诺丁汉大学数学院、兰卡、谢菲、LSE、南安、华威等。

　　TMUA考试总计时长2小时30分，包括两套paper。Paper 1考试75分钟，包含20道选择题，考核的是在新环境中应用数学知识的能力。Paper 2考试时间75分钟，包含20道选择题，考核的是学生具有证明和解释数学论证和猜想的能力，并能处理逻辑中的基本概念。

　　BMAT介绍

　　牛津医学专业，剑桥、帝国理工、UCL、利兹、兰卡等大学的医学课程申请，都需要考BMAT，牛津的A100 Medicine课程不接受8月BMAT考试成绩。

　　BMAT是笔试考试，时长2小时。

　　第一部分：能力测试

　　35道选择题，考试时间60分钟，考察的是问题解决、论点理解、数据分析和推理能力。

　　第二部分：科学知识与运用

　　27道选择题，考试时间30分钟，考察的是科学和数学知识的运用。

　　第三部分：写作任务

　　题目三选一的写作，考试时间30分钟，考察的是筛选、拓展和组织观点，并精确有效写出文章的能力。

　　考试会收取一定的考试费，8月考试比10月考试费用高。

　　UKCAT介绍

　　UCAT跟BMAT略有不同，因为它是机考的。BMAT考察的是知识和能力，而UCAT只考察能力。

　　语言推理(Verbal Reasoning)

　　11段200-300次的文字，考生需要就此回答44个问题。时间比较紧迫，只有20多分钟回答这44道问题。

　　数字推理(QuantitativeReasoning)

　　测试的是GCSE水平的算数能力。学生需要在24分钟内回答36道选择题。9道数据相关答题，每一大题下4个小题。不过跟BMAT不同，这个是可以使用网络计算器的。

　　抽象推理(AbstractReasoning)

　　抽象推理也常被当做‘non-verbal’推理，是为了测试学生的空间意识。考生会看到很多图形，问你某一图形怎样与其他的匹配，或者先给你一些图形，问你下一个会是哪种形状。

　　决策制定(DecisionMaking)

　　医学职业要求有能力在高压和复杂的环境下做出艰难的决定。决策制定部分考察的就是在困难情况下，通过使用逻辑和推理解决问题的能力。

　　情境判断(SituationalJudgement)

　　这部分测试评估的是考生的非学术能力，包括同理心、沟通技巧、团队合作和道德水平。

　　由于HPAT-Ulster考的不多，另外GAMSAT是医学研究生入学考试，这里就不详细介绍了。

　　TSA

　　TSA介绍

　　剑桥和UCL TSA都只有一个Section，考试时长90分钟，包括50到选择题，考察的是问题解决能力和批判性思考能力。

　　牛津TSA除了以上选择题部分，还包括一个30分钟的写作任务，化学、历史、经济申请者不要求答写作部分。
